Privacy Policy

Last updated 19 July 2026

This policy explains what personal data BitUnion L.L.C-FZ, trading as Latenta ("Latenta", "we", "us"), collects when you use Latenta, why, and the choices you have. It covers the website, the web app, and the macOS app (together, the "Service").

1. Data we collect

2. How we use data

We use your data to provide and operate the Service, authenticate you, fulfil the runs you request, enforce token allowances and prevent abuse, process payments, provide support, and comply with legal obligations. We do not sell your personal data, and we do not use it for third-party advertising.

3. Processors & providers

We rely on a small set of third-party processors to run the Service. They receive only the data needed for their function:

Provider Purpose
Paddle Merchant of record — payment processing, invoicing, and sales tax/VAT
RevenueCat Subscription management and entitlement tracking
Replicate Running AI image, text, and video generation to fulfil your runs
Cloudflare R2 Object storage for your generated and uploaded media
Resend Sending transactional email, including magic-link sign-in

When you run a capability node, the relevant inputs (such as prompts and any images you provide) are sent to the AI provider to produce the output. These providers process that data under their own terms and privacy policies.

4. Cookies

The web app uses a single, strictly necessary session cookie (latenta_session). It is HttpOnly, keeps you signed in, and is required for the Service to work. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. Our payment and subscription providers may set their own cookies during checkout, governed by their policies.

5. Data retention

We keep your account data, workflows, and media for as long as your account is active. Usage and billing records are kept as needed to operate the Service and to meet legal, tax, and accounting requirements. When you delete your account, we delete or anonymise your personal data within a reasonable period, except where we must retain certain records by law.

6. International transfers

Our providers may process data in countries other than yours. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards (such as standard contractual clauses) for those transfers.

7. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data, to object to or restrict certain processing, and to withdraw consent. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at the address below. You may also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data-protection authority.

8. Children

The Service is not directed to children, and you must be old enough to form a binding contract in your jurisdiction to use it. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

9. Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you by email or in the app. The "last updated" date above reflects the current version.

10. Contact
